It is this publications intention to merge similar musical cultures into a single document. The forms of music selected all share a common thread of the DJ that ties them together. the DJ, as selector and musician represents cross-cultural referencing and experiences.



Cadence establishes a new way of looking at beat oriented cultures and the people that are a part of them. It reflects the tone and style of the music; as well as makes the content approachable to fist time viewers. 

The end goal of this publication is to create a unique identity and content that will set it apart from any other publication on the market. There is an opportunity to cater to  a large segment of the public that is interested in multiple forms of music such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electronic, Funk and the cultures that surround them.
